Thursday, March 26

Cow Scavenger Hunt—Find all of the Sandra Boynton cows hidden in the library and get a small prize!Runs every day from March 2-March 28.

Story Time, ages 0-7—Come to the downstairs meeting room for stories, songs and a dimple craft. This event takes place at 10 a.m.

Free tech help—Volunteer Ben Elliott, a computer support specialist, is hosting free IT hours at the library from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you need one-on-one help with a laptop, smartphone, or general tech stuff, please schedule an appointment by registering at https://befreeit.org/ or ask library staff for help.

Elliot also offers free tech help at Wrentham’s Fiske Public Library on Tuesdays, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Plainville Public Library on Fridays, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, March 28

STEAM Cart—STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. There will be a different activity out each day. STEAM cart days are for children ages 3+ with an adult. Activities take place in the Children’s Room, are free play and not librarian led. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dungeons & Dragons for Beginners (Teens)—Introduction & Character Creation: Will give a brief description of what Dungeons & Dragons is and a general overview of how the game is played. After this short introduction, the participants will each create their own characters, with step-by-step instructions and explanations that will help all participants start to become familiar with the standard character sheet and some of the basic game mechanics. Each participant will be given their very own set of dice and a dice bag in preparation for their upcoming adventure. This will take place at 2 p.m. 

Monday, March 30

Story Time—Come to the downstairs meeting room for stories, songs and a dimple craft. This event takes place at 10 a.m.

Senior Center Monthly Book Club—North Attleborough Senior Center hosts a “For the Love of Books” club. The book club meeting on Monday, March 30, will be at the library, as the Senior Center will be moving to 451 Elm St. that week. The book club starts at 1:30 p.m. and will take place in the Library’s meeting room which is on the lower level. The library does have an elevator.

Wednesday, April 1

Poetry Writing with Town Poet Laureate Kayla Roy—Kick off National Poetry Month by joining Kayla Roy, the town’s poet laureate, for a night of communal poetry writing. Whether a seasoned writer, or have never once written a line, try your hand at writing some poems in a relaxed, supportive environment. Bring a notepad or laptop to jot down drafts. This will take place at 6:15 p.m.
