The North Star Reporter was founded in 2019 with a simple mission: to help local businesses and our community thrive. After more than 30 years in the newspaper and digital marketing industry, founder Jeffrey Andrade combined his passion for community journalism with decades of advertising and marketing expertise to create a company that delivers measurable results for local businesses.

Jeff’s career began in 1987 at the Providence Journal, where he gained firsthand experience in the newspaper industry before moving into advertising sales after graduating from college. Over the next three decades, he worked with thousands of businesses, helping them reach new customers through both traditional and digital marketing. He’s developed and executed successful marketing campaigns using websites, Google Ads, Local Service Ads, Video, SEO, display advertising, social media, and other emerging digital solutions.
