On Sunday, state Sen. Paul Feeney, D-Foxboro, received the Resolve New England 2023 Advocacy Award at the 30th annual Resolve New England Family Building Conference. Feeney has been awarded this recognition for embodying Resolve New England’s mission of creating a caring community for all people struggling with fertility and family building.
“I am humbled, grateful, and honored to have been awarded the 2023 “Advocacy Award” by Resolve New England at their 30th annual Family Building Conference this morning. Resolve New England is a caring community that provides support, education, and advocacy to people facing challenges and struggling with fertility and family building. I look forward to continuing to work closely with RNE, Executive Director Kate Weldon LeBlanc, and the many champions in the MA House and Senate to advance fertility and family building priorities this session, said Feeney in a statement.
As Senate sponsor of legislation designating Oc. 15 as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day (S2005), Feeney has advocated for those with infertility and pregnancy loss to raise awareness about the shared pain many suffer in silence while trying to grow or start a family. Resolve New England has highlighted this bill as one of its 2023-2024 legislative priorities to continue raising awareness around the prevalence and devastating impacts of infertility.
Resolve New England is a non-profit organization based in Waltham that serves the fertility and family-building community throughout New England. The organization is committed to providing support, education and advocacy to anyone facing the challenges of infertility family building.
