“I am proud of the hard work and dedication that each representative and officer brings to the student council, and I am excited to see the ways they will positively contribute to the school community this year,” said Bethany Bessette, student council advisor.
The council will be involved in planning school events, promoting community service projects, and serving as a voice for the student body.
“I remember being in first grade, when my cousin, who was also my buddy, was elected to Student Council,” said Hagopian. “Since then I have been hoping to be a part of the board.”
Their first project is to raise money for the victims of the recent hurricanes. In speaking of how the group will work together, Shea said, “These are my best friends. Together we are going to accomplish a lot.”
