Why are you running for this position?

North Attleborough has been my home for a lifetime—I’ve lived here, raised a family and served the community in various capacities. Now that I am semi-retired, I want to continue giving back by ensuring that all residents, including underrepresented groups, have a voice in the decision-making process. My goal is to serve in a way that prioritizes common sense, accountability and meaningful contributions to the town I love.

If elected, what issues would you like to focus on?

I am committed to ensuring that town government remains transparent, ethical and fiscally responsible. I will approach every issue with a focus on accountability and practical solutions that serve the best interests of North Attleborough’s residents.

What sets you apart from other candidates?

With 32 years of service in the military and North Attleborough Police Department (now retired), I bring extensive experience in leadership, public safety and crisis management. Additionally, I have served on multiple committees representing the Police Department, giving me firsthand insight into municipal operations. I pride myself on applying common sense, integrity and a strong moral compass to decision-making.

What are some areas that the town has improved upon and what, in your opinion, remains to be done?

North Attleborough has always been a great place to live, work and raise a family, with strong schools, thriving businesses and dedicated town services. However, there is always room for improvement. I believe we must continue investing in our schools, transportation, public safety and recreational spaces while enhancing overall quality of life for residents. As the saying goes, “If you’re not improving, you’re falling behind.”

Being part of a board requires one to be a team player. Does your background lend you to work well in this environment?

My experience in the police force and military has trained me to lead under pressure, make critical decisions and take responsibility—all essential qualities for effective governance. These roles have also reinforced the importance of teamwork, collaboration and understanding how government agencies function. Additionally, as one of eight siblings, I’ve had a lifetime of firsthand experience in conflict resolution and cooperation!
