The Health Department is pleased to report that Falls Pond has reopened on June 26. Recent testing indicated that the bacterial count has returned within the normal range. Residents may once again swim and boat in the water at Falls Pond.
The pond was closed in late June due to a higher than normal bacterial count.
Please note that Whitings Pond’s results were also within range and that it’s safe to swim there as well.
