Games and fun at Grace Church

Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro is offering a free, fun event on the lawn in front of the church located at 104 North Washington St. The event will include games and other fun events as well as refreshments. The event is free and open to all. Bring friends and family. The fun begins Sunday, Sept. 18, at 11:30 a.m. and will continue until 12:30 p.m.

 

Oldtown Church outside yard sale

The First Congregational Church UCC of North Attleborough, MA (Oldtown Church) is holding a yard sale on Sept. 24 at the schoolhouse across the street from the church, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. There are a lot of newly donated items to sell, something for everyone.

Oldtown Church is located at 675 Old Post Road, North Attleborough. Plenty of parking in the church lot.

 

Friends of COA yard sale and raffle

The Friends of North Attleboro Senior Center are sponsoring a yard sale and raffle items on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 9a m.-1 p.m. at the North Attleborough Middle School, 564 Landry Ave., North Attleborough. Rain date will be Sunday, Sept. 25. There will be 10’ x 10’ spaces available for vendors. The cost is $20 for members of the Friends group and $25 for all others. Vendors must provide their own table and chairs. They may also set up a 10’ x 10’ cover.

Checks should be made payable to the Friends of NACOA and either dropped off or mailed to the senior center at 204 Elm Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760. Please write “Yard Sale” in the memo section. The deadline for vendor tables is Sept. 22.

Education classes at Community Center of North Attleborough

The Community Center of North Attleborough, located at Grace Episcopal Church in downtown North Attleborough, now offers Education Programs. Current classes include Carpe Diem Yoga taught by certified yoga faith teacher Lisa Bouchard, SOS Your Photos – where you will learn to save, organize and share photos and digitizing from old media including videos, slides and film reels, and an Artiste Art and Craft Studio offering meditative, inspirational and unique fun art and craft projects for adults and children.

Community singers invited to join new chorale

Community singers (ages 14 through adult) are invited to join the Bristol Chorale. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 N. Main St., Attleboro. Originally founded in 1993 as the Williams Chorale, the Bristol Chorale is comprised of the talented singers from over 20 surrounding communities. The Bristol Chorale continues to advance the grand tradition of community choral singing, combining musical artistry with a joyful spirit. The Chorale offers performances with orchestra several times each year, seeking to further enrich the region’s cultural community and providing an opportunity for gifted singers to explore a diverse repertoire.

 

COVID test kits available through Board of Health

The Board of Health has COVID-19 test kits available to any resident that would like a box. The test kits will be available at the office Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m.
