The Bristol Chorale and Chamber Orchestra of Massachusetts, under the direction of Maestro Earl Raney, will present its annual Family Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 North Main Street, Attleboro.
The program will feature carols by John Rutter, David Willcocks and Earl Raney. Festive seasonal classics, including “Over the River and Through the Woods,” “O Holy Night,” “Children Go Where I Send Thee,” “Jolly Old Saint Nicolas,” and “We Need a Little Christmas,” plus Christmas pop songs such as “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “I’ll Know It’s Christmas,” “Believe” from “The Polar Express,” Fred Waring & the Pennsylvanians’ famed rendition of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and one of Raney’s own carols, “See the Promised Babe Has Come.”
“As the crisp air of winter settles in, we invite you to gather for an evening of pure holiday joy,” Raney said. “Bring family and friends to celebrate the season with our wonderful community singers and chamber orchestra as we feature Boston Pops-style merriment not to be missed.”
