On Tuesday, April 15, the nonprofit Joe Andruzzi Foundation had a special surprise for Carrie Foster of Norton.
Foster, a cancer patient and mother of two, thought she was taking part in a promotional video for the nonprofit, but was instead surprised to learn she was to be the recipient of a year’s worth of groceries and water, courtesy of Stop & Shop and Poland Spring. Foster, 45, is undergoing treatment for cervical cancer and is unable to work, according to the foundation.
