Retail chain Ocean State Job Lot opened the doors of its newest location in North Attleborough on April 16 at the Cumberland Crossing Shopping Center
The 51,074 square-foot space, formerly home to Christmas Tree Shops, marks OSJL’s 53rd store in the commonwealth and its eighth in Bristol County. OSJL executives joined Town Manager Michael Borg for a celebration that highlighted the company’s work revitalizing well-known retail sites and expanding job opportunities in the region.
The grand opening festivities will continue on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with free photos with the Easter Bunny, complimentary coffee and hot chocolate from the Presto Strange O Truck, donuts from the Poppin Minis Donut Truck, and henna art for children. All attendees will have the chance to win one of three $150 Ocean State Job Lot gift cards and will be automatically enrolled in OSJL’s free Job Lot Insider Club loyalty program.
“We’re so excited to welcome customers into our new store in North Attleborough,” said the store’s Team Leader Mike Wyatt. “We’ve worked hard to create a clean, convenient, friendly, and fresh shopping experience, and we’re proud to be part of this community.”
This location has created new jobs for the area, including supervisory, full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. OSJL expects to continue its expansion across the northeast with additional store openings throughout 2025.
