Plainville free summer concert series

The Spirit of Plainville kicked off its free summer concert series on Saturday, July 12.  Concerts are held at Teleford Park, 142 South St. (Route 1A), Plainville, on Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks and ice cream (for purchase) and more.

July 19 – Daybreakers – Fueled by two songwriters with contrasting approaches, the Daybreakers craft their distinct sound through a blend of folk rock melodies, blues guitar muscle and rock and roll grit. 

July 26, 4 p.m. — Pre-Concert Car Cruise with Berkshire Valley Boys—Join a Spirit of Plainville double feature: Car Cruise with Berkshire Valley Boys outside the Plainville Senior Center followed by the summer concert at 6 p.m. in Telford Park. Bring your car, classic, vintage, fun, and park outside the Plainville Senior Center for a delightful car cruise with music from the Berkshire Valley Boys. 

July 26, 6 p.m.—Zerodrift—An acoustic four-piece bringing favorite hits from the 70s to today to life. The band delivers an intimate yet dynamic performance that keeps the crowd singing along. ZeroDrift is the perfect soundtrack for any night out.

Aug. 2—Whiskey Rhode—The band plays favorite rock and R&B songs, from the Beatles and Stones, to ZZ Top, Dave Matthews, Tom Petty, Steely Dan, a little country, some new rock and a healthy dose of funk. 

Aug. 9—Ron Hall Band—Athree-piece rocking band that plays songs people know.

Aug. 16, 2 p.m.-10 p.m.—Country Fest—This is a big event, with bands starting at 2 p.m. with line dancing at 6 p..m, followed by more music and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. As always, there will be food trucks and ice cream available to purchase.
