In partnership with the City of Attleboro, Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) awarded a grant totaling $15,000 to support the upcoming 14th Winter Night Festival during a check presentation ceremony held recently at Attleboro City Hall. The event, celebrating family fun and winter magic, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Park and Pine streets in downtown Attleboro. Rain date is Sunday, Feb. 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Winter Night Festival is a collaboration between the City of Attleboro and local associations and organizations. Artists and craftspeople, entertainers and area restaurants all participate to celebrate the vibrancy of the city.

Entertainment will include bumper cars, pony rides, hayrides, a stilt walker and juggler, magic shows, face painting, a snowball throw station, caricature artists, a craft fair, an Attleboro Jewelers Jewelry Sale & Exhibit, the Providence Drum Troupe, a photo both, giveaways, DJ Nate and more.

“The Winter Night Festival is such a special event because there is a wide variety of fun things to do for families of all ages and most of the activities are free,” said Attleboro Mayor Cathleen DeSimone. “We are very grateful to Bristol County Savings Bank for their long-standing support of this event and for their partnership in supporting other local community event and area organizations.”

“As a community bank, we are proud to once again get behind this winter tradition and celebrate all the things that make Attleboro a special place,” added John Silva, president & CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank.
