A celebration to mark the Red Rocketeers’ recent MIAA championship win will be held this Friday,. Dec. 13, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Community members are invited to celebrate the achievements of the North Attleborough High School football team, cheer team, band and other community groups at this event following the school’s Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 3 Super Bowl championship win.
Police and fire will escort the football team, cheer team and band to the gazebo at Veteran’s Park, where the celebration will occur. The ceremony will kick off with the band and cheerleaders leading the crowd in a spirited “Go Big Red” performance. Football
Head Coach Mike Strachan and the senior football captains will then share remarks, followed by another band and cheer team performance.
North Attleborough High School Band Director Patrick Marum and Cheer Coach Patti Johnson will also share remarks.
“On behalf of the high school community, I would like to invite all North Attleborough community members, those with and without ties to our high school, to attend our upcoming celebration this Friday,” High School Principal Peter Haviland said. “During the ceremony, we will recognize our football players, cheerleaders, and band members’ success and the greater North Attleborough victory, which should fill the entire Big Red community with pride.”
Community members are advised that parking will be limited. Parking restrictions will be in place to allow emergency vehicle access. Please plan accordingly.
