As the fall sports season approaches, excitement is building around the North Attleborough High School football team.

Head Coach Michael Strachan shared his thoughts on the upcoming season, highlighting the team’s strengths and strategies.

“We have an exceptional group of seniors this year,” Strachan explained.

With new senior leadership at the helm, Strachan’s main strategy for this season is clear: lean on the abilities of such a strong senior class.

Stahan said the team boasts a formidable lineup of captains, including Ryan Bannon, Patrick Hamilton, Chase Frisoli, Lucas Crovo, and Brady Paradis. Their leadership on and off the field is expected to be a crucial factor in Red Rocketeer’s success.

And don’t forget about the offense, because it is shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with. Strachan pointed out key players Clemente and Nathan Rivera as cornerstones of the offensive strategy.

According to Strachan, several standout players are poised to make impacts: Bryce Kiser is expected to be a key target at receiver, Austin Clemente brings precision kicking, as well as Matt Whalen.

“It isn’t just the seniors,” Strachan added, “we have a lot of promising juniors as well.”

Nate Rivera, Frankie Strachan and Corey Rofino are among the juniors expected to contribute significantly to the team’s performance.

When asked about the challenges for the season, Strachan emphasized the importance of the team’s health and balance. With health and wellness as the main focus, the team will be playing to their full potential.

The excitement continues with rivalry games on the schedule. The Thanksgiving game against Attleboro remains a highlight of the season. In the Hockomock League, matchups against Mansfield and Foxboro during weeks 7-8 are circled on the calendar as key rivalry games.

As the Red Rocketeers gear up for the season, the community’s anticipation grows. With a blend of experienced seniors and promising underclassmen, North Attleborough High School football is prepared for an exciting and competitive season.
