Attleboro Farmers Market hosts Dog Days of Summer 

The Attleboro Farmers Market announces its upcoming Dog Days of Summer event set to take place on June 29, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the market’s location, 947 Park St, Attleboro, in the field behind the overflow parking area. This fun-filled event aims to bring the community together to support the Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for FAAS and, in return, will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket. Donations can be dropped off at the management tent. The shelter is in need of the following items:

  • Non-clumping cat litter
  • Soft dog treats
  • Large red or black Kongs
  • Wet cat food
  • Wet dog food
  • Dry dog food (Pro Plan chicken and rice)
  • Bleach
  • Paper towels
  • Towels and blanket

In addition to collecting donations, the event will feature a pet portrait station. Bring your furry friends and have their photos taken by a volunteer photographer for a $5 donation to benefit the shelter. Digital photos will be available after processing. Please note that payments can be made via cash or Venmo only.
