Hong Li, who most recently served as building inspector for the City of Worcester, has been appointed as North Attleborough’s new building inspector.
Li was confirmed as North Attleborough’s new building inspector during a Town Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 26, according to a statement from the town. She began her new role on Monday, March 4.
“Li is an incredibly eager and driven individual who we are pleased to welcome to our team here in North Attleborough,” Town Manager Michael Borg said. “She’s immediately jumped into her new position and has begun collaborating with our departments and state partners on a number of projects. We greatly look forward to having her here and all that she’ll accomplish.”
As a local building inspector for Worcester since July 2022, she performed the duties and responsibilities of a building inspector on both commercial and residential job sites.
Since 2014, she has also worked as a home improvement contractor where she conducted frame-to-finish work on projects, coordinated with all subcontractors, and conducted walkthroughs with building inspectors.
Li is knowledgeable of all code requirements and construction best practices. She’s a certified Local Building Inspector, Certified Building Commissioner and a licensed construction supervisor.
