Sturdy Memorial remains dedicated to actively reducing the spread of COVID-19 within the community. As COVID-19 cases sweep across the nation and neighborhoods, the demand for at-home tests continues to skyrocket.
In support of early, accessible identification of the COVID virus, Sturdy Memorial took the lead in purchasing a supply of at-home COVID-19 test kits to place in the hands of our community residents. During a recent event at the new state-of-the-art medical facility in Attleboro, Sturdy Memorial distributed 2,500 free at home test kits for our community via a drive-thru event.
“COVID-19 continues to be prevalent in our communities and with the infectiousness of the Omicron variant we felt it was necessary to get as many COVID-19 tests kits as possible into the hands of our community,” said Aimee Brewer, President and CEO of Sturdy Memorial. “By equipping our community members with the tools to test themselves, we hope to help halt the spread of the Omicron variant.”
