Dr. Brian Patel will speak at the North Attleborough Board of Health meeting regarding the importance of vaccinating against COVID-19 and the vaccine safety and effectiveness.
This meeting will be held on Oct. 5, 6 p.m., at the North Attleborough Middle School Cafetorium
Dr. Patel, has recently been named Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Quality Officer for Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Prior to his promotion, he has served in numerous leadership roles during his time at Sturdy Memorial including as the Chief, Emergency Services, Associate Chief Quality Officer, and Region V EMS Medical Director.
Most relevant to the discussion tonight, Dr. Patel has been the key leader for the Sturdy COVID-19 response and has dedicated much of his time to providing education to the hospital and the community. Dr. Patel is very active in the community – whether it be as a member of civic and professional organization, providing his knowledge and expertise as a guest speaker, or providing media interviews to keep the community informed.
