The Class of 2020 may not get a traditional graduation, but the occasion was marked in a unique way with the Big Red Rolling Rally.
Seniors assembled at the Martin School in caps and gowns. From the school, a number of vehicles drove down Landry Avenue toward the high school. Seniors rode as passengers, standing up to wave to friends and family, which lined both sides of Landry Avenue the entire way. Many vehicles were decorated with red and white balloons, signs with the seniors’ names, and one with a large paper mortarboard.
The Big Red Rolling Rally was one of a number of events scheduled around the high school graduation. Others included the sports and academic events, a music banquet, and a drive-thru graduation on June 11.
