For the week of Jan. 5-12, the North Attleborough Fire Department responded to 87 calls for assistance.
55 were emergency medical services responses, with 46 requiring Advanced Life Support measures.
10 were for motor vehicle collisions.
Three were for illegal burning investigations.
The remaining responses were initiated for a variety of other factors including electrical systems malfunctions, chemical spills/discharges, and gas leaks.
Open Burning Season is now open. Residents may apply for Open Burning Permits via the headquarters station at 50 Elm Street Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Very soon, an online application process will be available through the fire department page on the town web site.
