YMCA holds annual backpack drive for 15 towns
The YMCA organizes an annual backpack collection for all 15 of the Hockomock communities. The drive began in 2015 with 60 backpacks collected. Through partnerships with Samsonite, High Sierra, Dell, WB Mason, and S&S Worldwide, 2,000 backpacks were collected and packed with school supplies. Among the schools which received backpacks was the Community School.
