About North Star Reporter
Welcome to the North Star Reporter! The paper was started in April 2019. It was started by owner and managing partner Jeffrey Andrade, who has worked in the Newspaper Industry for over 30 years. His career started back in 1987 working in the circulation department of the Providence Journal. After graduating from College in 1993, he moved to the Sales Department, working in downtown Providence as a Salesperson. He was promoted to Sales Director in 2007 to lead various Sales Teams including Niche Publications, Real Estate, Automotive and finally the Digital Services Team. There he sold an impressive portfolio of digital services such as websites, CPC, display, SEO and Social Marketing. In March 2017 he left the Providence Journal and took on a new opportunity at the Sun Chronicle in Attleboro, MA. There he managed the Classified and Digital Sales Teams to grow advertising revenues for the company. After the Sun Chronicle was sold to a local media group, Jeff decided to start his own company, and that is how the North Star Reporter came to be.
