South Attleborough Village Lions Bingo fundraiser
On Friday, Sept. 20, the South Attleboro Village Lions Club will host a Bingo fundraiser to benefit the Village Lions charities. Sponsored by Raymour & Flanigan and SAVL, the event takes place at 1360 S. Washington St., with a cost of $30 per person (three cards, 10 rounds of Bingo). The night begins at 6 p.m. and games will start at 6:30 p.m. Win prizes, gift cards and more. There will be raffles, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Daughters of the American Revolution open house
An open house for the Peck House, located at 2 Elizabeth St., Attleboro will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The house is owned by the Attleboro Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and will be open for visitors to come explore and learn about the house’s 300-year history.
Rotary Club hosts Fall Festival
On Saturday, Sept. 21, the North Attleboro/Plainville Rotary Club will hold its annual Fall Festival at the North Attleboro Elks Lodge 1011, 52 Bulfinch St. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is free to the public and parking at the lodge is available. There will be live music, craft beer, face-painting, BBQ, raffles, a dunk dank and a corn hole tournament with a cash prize.
Falls Firebarn Museum Psychic Fair Fundraiser
The Falls Firebarn Museum of North Attleborough History will hold a Psychic Fair Fundraiser at the museum from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The cost of a 15-minute reading is $20 and an admission charge of $2 includes a chance to win a door prize.
The fair includes psychics, mediums, animal communicators, tarot cards, stones, angel card readers, reiki, animal reiki and more on both floors of the museum, which is located at 100 Commonwealth Ave. in the Attleboro Falls section of North Attleboro. Lions Club hosts fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Association
The South Attleboro Village Lions Club will hold “An Afternoon to Remember” to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. This event is sponsored by Walk to End Alzheimier’s and The Branches of North Attleboro.
The fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature The Fabulous Schittons and have a 50/50 and gift basket raffles. The event takes place at the Elks Pavilion, 52 Bullfinch St., North Attleborough.

North Attleborough Elks Big Bas Derby
The first annual North Attleborough Elks Big Bass Derby will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Falls Pond, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants are responsible for their own fishing licenses.
The public boat ramp is available on Barbara Road or kayaks and canoes can be launched from the Elks Lodge. Burgers and hot dogs are available for $5 and $3 and a full bar will be available at the lodge pavilion directly after the tournament.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three heavy fish and there will be kids prizes as well. Catch and release is practiced. The administrator will weigh fish on the water as they are caught. Prize amounts will depend on participation.
Entry fee is $20 per angler, and children under 13 years old can participate for free. Proceeds will benefit area veterans. Entry fees will be collected at the boat ramp at the start of the tournament.
