North Attleborough Fire Department, Aug. 18-Aug. 25

Between Aug. 18 and Aug. 25, the North Attleborough Fire Department responded to 118 incidents.

  • 75 Emergency Medical Services (22 required Advanced Life Support)
  • 2 Vehicle fires
  • 9 Motor vehicle accidents with injuries
  • 1 Motor vehicle/pedestrian accident
  • 1 Gas leak
  • 2 Electrical problems
  • 1 Cover assignment for a mutual aid agency
  • 6 Smoke detector activations
  • 2 Carbon monoxide investigations
  • 1 Brush fire

The remainder of the calls for Fire Department services included other matters, such as various hazard investigations, accidental medical alarm activations and other calls to assist the public. The department also provided mutual aid responses to surrounding communities such as Attleboro, Cumberland and Plainville. As of Aug. 25, the department has responded to 3,691 calls for service this year.
