A new entertainment park is set to replace the closed Babies R Us on S. Washington Street.
Launch Entertainment, a trampoline theme park and entertainment center, will be built on the site of the old store, which closed in 2018 following a bankruptcy filing by parent company Toys ‘R Us the previous year.
According to company public relations director Samantha Lorton, Launch Entertainment Park and Momentum Enterprises purchased the former Babies ‘R Us property, located at 1255 S Washington St, for $3.2 million. Lorton said the site would be perfect for the park, as it sits next to the Target retail store.
“The Launch Entertainment Park in North Attleborough boasts a diverse range of attractions and
amenities ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” Lorton said. “Visitors can look forward to an array of thrilling activities, including trampolines, a state-of-the-art bowling alley, axe throwing, mini-golf, virtual reality games, and an expansive arcade & redemption center.”
Additionally, the park will feature a full-scale restaurant and bar to purchase drinks.
The company currently has four different parks located in Framingham, Woburn, Norwood, and Westboro. The North Attleborough location will be the company’s fifth park.
Construction for the remodel is scheduled to begin in October 2023 and will finish in spring 2024.
