Almost everything is costing more these days. Food costs continue to increase. The cost of living continues to rise. Central Congregational Church hopes to ease this burden a little by offering free children’s clothing and sports equipment to parents. To be successful the church is requesting donations of these items.
Clothing items accepted include new or gently-used clothes and shoes from birth through teen sizes. Usable, basic sports equipment for children and teens such as baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, hockey, softball, soccer and volleyball will be accepted. Success at assisting families will be according to what donations are received.
Donation drop-off and the free giveaway event will be held in the basement of the white church building at 109 Commonwealth Ave. in Attleboro Falls. Parking is available.
Donations will be accepted March 20-22 from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.
The free giveaway will be held on the following dates:
- Thursday, March 23, from 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Friday, March 24, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
