Halloween Greeting Cards, 2 p.m.
Join Jacqueline Christopher for an afternoon of creating greeting cards. Jackie will show how to make two scary Halloween cards. She will provide all the stamps, die cuts and ribbons. Class size is limited to 10 adults (ages 18+). Please register at the Reference Desk or call 508-699-0122.

STEAM Cart Days, Ages 3+, 10 a.m.
Come to the library on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Tuesdays between 12 and 7 p.m. for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. ) activities. We will have a different activity out each day. STEAM cart days are best children ages 3+ with the direction of a parent. Activities are intended for independent or group play and are not librarian led.
Recognizing The Firefighter as A Community Helper, 10 a.m.
Learn fire safety awareness, including recognizing firefighters as community helpers, from a North Attleborough firefighter. Meet in the downstairs meeting room. This program is beneficial to children and adults.

Afternoon Book Discussion, 1:30 p.m.
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine is the 2017 debut novel by Gail Honeyman.The story centres on Eleanor Oliphant, a social misfit with a traumatic past who becomes enamoured with a singer, whom she believes she is destined to be with. The novel deals with themes of isolation and loneliness, and depicts Eleanor’s transformational journey towards a fuller understanding of self and life.

Genealogy: Focusing Your Research, 7 p.m.
Professional genealogist Seema Kenney presents the first of three sessions. She will discuss organizing research, writing research questions, understanding sources, developing a research plan, and creating a research log. Those just starting out or have already done some research will learn something new.

Video games available
Video games circulate for one week, and can be renewed for an additional week. The video game collection includes Switch, XBOX One, PS5, and PS4 games.
Heard a Good Book Lately?
Pay to borrow an audio book through an app such as Audible, or listen for free. The library has a large collection of books on CD (both fiction and nonfiction) which may be borrowed for 14 days (and renewed for another 14). Patrons can download the Libby, by Overdrive App and search for digital audio books. Borrow them or place holds using any SAILS library card. A third option is to use Hoopla, but you must be an RML patron and can sign up using a library card. There is a limit of seven digital items per month.
Are you LibraryAware?
Want to keep up-to-date on the latest books in the genres that interest you? If so, the library offers something called LibraryAware. Simply sign up for one or more newsletters, and they will be emailed each month. Each one contains recent titles with a plot description, who the book would appeal to and other similar authors and titles. To sign up, go to RMLonline.org and click on Book Newsletters.

Computers available for the public
The library will have five public internet computers available. Earphones are not supplied at the library. None of the computers have video cameras or microphones. Printing is available and staff can also help print from a phone.
Mobile App for SAILS System
- Search the SAILS’ catalog: Search for items by title, author, subject, or general keyword and place holds on interesting items.
- Manage your account: Keep track of your account – view your checked-out items, holds, and account information, and pay your fines online.
- Link accounts to manage your family’s checkouts and holds, all in the same place.
- Have your user id/barcode automatically available to scan at checkout..
- Search by barcode: Use your device’s camera to scan the barcode on a book, CD, DVD, or other item at a friend’s house or bookstore and search for available copies in the SAILS’ Network.
