Despite this year’s COVID challenges, the North Attleborough High School Music Department’s annual poinsettia sale will still take place, keeping the decades long tradition alive. This is the department’s biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to provide students with financial aid, instruments, lessons, enrichment, scholarships, and more.
In past years, music students have spent an entire weekend knocking on doors throughout all of North Attleborough to sell the poinsettias for delivery or pickup in December. To follow MA State social distancing requirements this year, students will instead be leaving door hangers at as many houses as possible from Oct. 21-30. These door hangers provide all of the information to order by mail or online.
All ordered poinsettias can either be delivered to North Attleborough addresses on Saturday, Dec. 5 (no contact delivery) or can be picked up at North Attleborough High School on Saturday, Dec. 5 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) or Sunday, Dec. 6 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) (masks and social distancing will be in place).
This is a challenging year, so whether you receive a door hanger or not, all North Attleborough residents can still buy their poinsettias online at www.nahsmusic.com or by check (payable to: NAHS Friends of Music), mailing your order to P.O. Box 3342, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
Plants are $12 each ($12.50 if ordered online). Please be sure to note whether you would like delivery; otherwise the order will be available for pick up. There will be no other delivery/pick up times available.
The annual sale closes on Nov. 6. Any questions can be emailed to friendsofmusic@nahsmusic.com.
