COVID-19 has impacted the North Attleborough Fire Department in many ways. The business office had to close and inspections postponed. All of these actions were necessary to ensure that staff and the public remained healthy.
Effective July 13, smoke detector and carbon monoxide inspections will be re-started. Patience is requestred as the department has over 70 inspections to complete. Any resident who has a smoke detector/carbon monoxide inspection which was deferred due to the COVID-19 virus, please log into the online permitting, Viewpoint at www.nattleboro.com/fire and review the request.
All pending requests have been processed and are being scheduled. There are numerous inspections and it is critical to be home at the designated time for the inspection. These inspections are being scheduled for the week of July 14, and should be completed by July 17.
In the event of a conflict, please call the Executive Assistant to The Fire Chief at 508-699-0140 ext. 5603 to reschedule. As always any questions or concerns can be directed to the Fire Prevention Captain at 508-699-0140 ext. 5617.
