In light of the health crisis we are all facing, Keep North Attleborough Beautiful is postponing the Great American Cleanup from May 2 to a Saturday in September or October. The Town Hall nights on April 16 and 23 are canceled as well. If KNAB and town administrators are able to arrange a new date for a fall cleanup, a notification will be sent out.
Neil Rhein of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful has suggested that small groups may pick up litter on their own during the next few months. Those who are willing are asked to use their own gloves and bags, and dispose of filled litter bags in their trash.
Regarding the utility box art contest, the deadline has been extended until further notice. Submissions may be dropped off at Reinbold Insurance Agency at 860 Landry Ave. on weekdays. Please call their office at 508-695-0314 from the parking lot before going inside.
