The Senior Center is bringing the spirit of Thanksgiving to local older adults through its Thankful Hearts: Adopt-a-Senior program.
Community members, families, businesses, civic organizations, schools, churches and other groups are invited to adopt a senior and help make Thanksgiving brighter. Donors can choose an anonymous senior profile from the Thanksgiving Tree at the Senior Center and fulfill a wish, such as a gift card, favorite treats, coffee or tea, warm socks, a blanket, personal care items, a small gift or handwritten Thanksgiving card.
