Vice Principal of Academics Charlotte Lourenco announced that 10 current Bishop Feehan High School seniors were recently named by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as Commended Students. Benjamin Davis from Wrentham learned that he has been named a semi-finalist in the high-profile annual honors program.

National Merit honors represent the very highest performance on the junior year PSAT exam, which is offered to all Bishop Feehan students during the school day each fall. Commended students represent the top 3% of test takers and semi-finalists are within the top 1% nationwide. More than 1.3 million students took the 2025 PSAT.

“We are immensely proud of these students and their recent honors,” said Lourenco. “This achievement reflects years of hard work academically. I’d be remiss if I didn’t also recognize our teachers who have helped guide these accomplished students along their way. I can’t wait to see how these terrific young people continue to grow from here.”

Feehan’s 10 Commended students include: Jonathan Thomas (East Walpole), Calvin Giles (North Attleborough), Rowan Poluvatzick (Cumberland), Jack Handren (Mansfield), William Sheehan (Wrentham), Emily Azzouz (Seekonk), Onyeka Moseri (Wrentham), Mackayla Creighton (Rehoboth), Sophie Shaw (Bellingham), and Avi Amin (North Attleborough).
