PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to the provisions of § 290-26, Site Plan Reviews, of the Zoning Bylaw and M.G.L. c. 40A, § 9, the Planning Board will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the JoAnn Cathcart Conference Room in Town Hall, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleborough, MA 02760, pertaining to the following matter:
The Town of North Attleboro Department of Public Works has submitted an application for a Level 1 Minor Site Plan Review and Aquifer Protection District Special Permit for a 3,600 sq. ft. per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) treatment facility. The project includes approximately 6,000 sq. ft. of new driveway and associated drainage. The new building is proposed to the east of the existing well. The parcel consists of 1.42± acres, identified as Assessor’s Map 29, Lot 4B, and is located within the R-20 (Residential 20,000 sq. ft.) Zoning District and the Aquifer Protection Overlay District. The site plan, titled Town of North Attleborough, North Attleborough, MA, Hillman Well PFAS Water Treatment Facility, is dated September 2026, has a final revision date of September 25, 2026, and was prepared by Woodard & Curran.
