Munroe Dairy’s Sacred Cow Scoop Shop and Market recently hosted the North Attleborough-based Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) for Scoops of Kindness, an end-of-summer ice cream social.
More than 25 patients and family members from Rhode Island and Massachusetts gathered for a special day of ice cream, connection, and community. They were joined by three-time Super Bowl champion and JAF co-founder and chief engagement officer Joe Andruzzi, JAF president & CEO Jen Andruzzi, and members of the foundation’s staff.
JAF assists New Englanders facing a cancer diagnosis through programs including Financial Assistance, Extraordinary Needs, Food Security Assistance, and Treatment Transportation Assistance, along with additional resources designed to ease the financial burdens associated with treatment. To date, JAF has awarded more than $14 million in assistance to over 50,000 New England cancer patients and their families.
