The North Attleborough Senior Center is excited to announce the addition of new yoga classes beginning Wednesday, June 4, at the Senior Center’s new location at 451 Elm St.

Yoga classes will be instructed by certified yoga instructor Lisa Bouchard and are designed to promote flexibility, balance, relaxation and overall wellness for older adults of all fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Classes will be held weekly on Thursdays at 1 p.m. The Senior Center is also exploring the possibility of offering a men’s yoga class based on community interest.

“We are thrilled to expand our wellness programming and provide additional opportunities for older adults to stay active and engaged,” said Karen Testa, director of the North Attleborough Senior Center. “Yoga offers tremendous physical and mental health benefits, and we look forward to welcoming both beginners and experienced participants.”

Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance by contacting the Senior Center. When registering, participants will be asked whether they have a yoga mat available to bring to class.
