Invitation to Bid
The Town of North Attleborough, acting through the Town Manager and
the Department of Public Works, is receiving sealed bids and proposals for
Whiting St. Water Treatment Plant Cla-Valve Maintenance Services at
the Public Works Administration Building, 49 Whiting Street, North
Attleborough, Massachusetts 02760, up to 11:00 am on Thursday, May 7,
2026 at which date, time and place the bids will be publicly opened and
read aloud at the Public Works Administration Building Public Meeting
Room.
Electronic submission of bids and proposals is preferred via the Town’s
eProcurement Portal: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/nattleboro.
By way of the eProcurement Portal, responses will be locked and digitally
encrypted until the submission deadline passes. Information and details of
bidding requirements may be obtained at the Administration Office of the
Public Works Department at (508) 695-9621, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00
p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m on Friday.
Each bid must include a 5% bid security (bid bond, certified check, or
cash). A 100% performance bond and labor and materials bond will be
required from the awarded contractor.
This procurement is subject to M.G.L. c.30, §39M and c.149, §§44A–44H.
Prevailing wage laws (M.G.L. c.149, §§26–27D) apply, and certified
payrolls must be submitted weekly.
Contract award will be made to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
Bids shall remain valid for 30 business days (excluding weekends and
legal holidays) after opening. The Town reserves the right to waive
informalities and to reject any or all bids.
