
Town Manager Michael Borg and Director of Veterans Services Scott Smith invite residents to join town officials in honoring those who lost their lives while serving their country at North Attleborough’s 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony.
The ceremony will Saturday, May 24, beginning at 10 a.m. at Barrows Veterans Memorial Park, 76 South Washington St.
This year’s festivities will include a special static display of military vehicles and World War II reenactors for community members to view before and after the ceremony at the Community School, located at 45 S Washington St.
North Attleborough’s 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony will feature several distinguished guests and representatives from various military branches and organizations. The ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 10 a.m. at Barrows Veterans Memorial Park, with welcoming remarks from Director Smith. Father Bill Devine, Captain, U.S. Navy Retired, will lead attendees in an opening prayer, and representatives from the Massachusetts Army National Guard will conduct the Presentation of Colors.
Bishop Feehan High School and North Attleborough High School will perform several musical pieces, including the National Anthem and others.
Brig. Gen. George’ Chris’ Hackler, deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), will deliver the keynote address. He also serves as the senior commander of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center.
