Two North Attleborough High School juniors will conduct a workshop to teach residents how to use different forms of technology. The workshop will be held at Richards Memorial Library from Monday, Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 13, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
North Attleborough High School juniors John Thomas and Bhavi Mood invite community members looking to learn more about technology to attend the North Attleboro Senior Technology Program (NASTP) workshop.
The workshop will provide free, hands-on assistance to residents looking to improve their technology skills. Those seeking assistance with their smartphones, tablets, computers and online platforms, such as social media and AI, are encouraged to attend. Each session will focus on a different topic.
The schedule for the week is as follows:
• Monday, Dec. 9: Artificial Intelligence 101
• Tuesday, Dec. 10: Online Safety: Spotting Scams
• Wednesday, Dec. 11: Learn Your Smartphone
• Thursday, Dec. 12: Mastering Online Navigation
• Friday, Dec. 13: Understanding Tech’s Impact
Community members are encouraged to bring their own devices; however, a limited number of laptops will be available for demonstration. On the final day, residents are encouraged to bring any device they need assistance with, as Thomas and Mood will provide one-on-one help.
Residents may attend one session or all five sessions throughout the week. Attendees of each session will be entered into a raffle to win a special prize. Anyone with questions is encouraged to reach out to Thomas and Mood via email at naseniortech@gmail.com.
