The senior center is looking for Volunteer Snow Angels to assist senior residents and individuals with disabilities by clearing a safe walking path from the street to their front door after snowfall.
Many residents are unable to shovel on their own, and this help can make a meaningful difference—improving safety, independence, and peace of mind during the winter months.
Who can volunteer:
- Adults age 18 and over
- Youth ages 13–17 with a safe mode of transportation
Volunteers are matched with residents in their neighborhood whenever possible. This is a flexible, weather-dependent opportunity. Those interested in becoming a Snow Angel or for more information, contact Karen Testa at 508-699-0131.
