Notice of municipal closures and trash delay

Due to the winter storm forecasted to impact the area from Sunday, Jan. 25, through Monday, Jan. 26, the town is implementing the following service adjustments, closures, and cancellations to ensure public safety and support storm response operations.

All town offices will be closed to the public on Monday, Jan. 26, including Richards Memorial Library, the Recycling Center, the Senior Center, and the Animal Shelter. All respective programming is also cancelled.

Seniors are advised that Meals on Wheels delivery through Bristol Aging is canceled for Monday, Jan. 26.

Waste Management has canceled all trash and recycling collection scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26. Collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week, with Monday’s route serviced on Tuesday.

All Parks and Recreation programs are canceled on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Monday, Jan. 26. WWI Park will be closed to the public through Monday and is expected to reopen Tuesday morning after snow removal operations are completed.
