The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for New England cancer patients and their families through financial support when it is needed most, cheered on its team participating in the 53rd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 17th.
Team JAF’s 49 runners raised more than $77,000 to benefit the Foundation’s mission to help New England cancer patients and their families through a variety of initiatives, including its Financial Assistance Program, Food Security Program, Treatment Transportation Program, Extraordinary Needs Program and (Up)Beat Events. Since 2000, the Falmouth Road Race has helped charity partners raise more than $71.54 million.
The Joe Andruzzi Foundation has granted over $13 million to more than 47,000 cancer patients across New England to help ease the pressure of household expenses, food, transportation, extraordinary needs, and wellness resources while undergoing treatment since its founding in 2008. In 2024 alone, JAF distributed more than $1.2 million in direct assistance to help patients and their families throughout New England.
