Special Education Parent Advisory Council recognizes 2025 SEPAC Heroes

On Wednesday, May 7, the North Attleborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) hosted its annual award night. 

At the awards night, SEPAC recognized individuals in the school district and community who helped foster inclusion through respect, dignity and advocacy for students with disabilities. The council presented three awards: Faculty, Community Kindness, and Student Awards.

The following individuals received Faculty Awards:

  • Meaghan Bowen, North Attleborough Middle School (NAMS) teacher, nominated by Albert Berardinelli
  • Kathleen Carley, NAMS teacher, nominated by Steven Olson
  • Meaghan Collins, NAMS teacher, nominated by Tara Ward
  • Sapna Colonna, Community School speech pathologist, nominated by Lourdes Tapper
  • Michelle Gaffney, Adjustment Counselor at North Attleborough High School (NAHS), nominated by Carole Murphy
  • Bethany Gaumond, office professional NAHS, nominated by Alyssa Fazzina
  • Jennifer Hayden, Falls School teacher, nominated by Prashant Dave
  • Pamela Holden and Michelle Mulvey, second-grade teachers at Martin School, nominated by Meaghan Collins
  • Pranitha Panuganti, instructional assistant at NAHS, nominated by Aleigha Michel
  • Jill Shoop, Falls School teacher, nominated by Neema Patel
  • Teresa Smith, NAMS teacher, nominated by Joseph Callahan
  • Ashley Wilk, special education instructional assistant at Community School, nominated by Kaleigh Erickson

The following individuals received Community Kindness Awards:

  • Elise Coleman, owner of Total Image Salon, nominated by Annelie Cloe St. Paul
  • Nicholas Giordano, Little North Attleboro League coach, nominated by Tara Ward
  • Stacy Martin, Martin School parent, nominated by Sarah Stone and Michael Carlon
  • Kyle Pasquel, karate instructor at America’s Best Defense, nominated by Kristen Forget
  • Robyn Rogers, gymnastics coach at Tri-Alpha Gymnastics, nominated by Hayley Boss

The following individuals received Student Awards

  • Margaret (Maggie) DiFonzo, NAHS student, nominated by Connor Donnelly
