    Rummage sale at Baptist Church

    The First Baptist Church, 75 Park St., North Attleborough will hold a Rummage Sale (clothing) on Friday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clothing sizes range from men’s and women’s plus to infant. Also on sale will be shoes, pocketbooks, jewelry, bedding, sewing machines, furniture, household items and more. For questions and assistance, please call the church office at 508-699-2434. The church is located on the Baptist Common between North Washington and Park streets in North Attleborough

    Oldtown Church Pet Vaccination Clinic

    The First Congregational Church UCC of North Attleborough (Oldtown Church) will hold its next pet vaccination clinic for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at 675 Old Post Rd. North Attleborough. Please call/text 508-212-4774 or email chopper1951@verizon.net for information, fees and to make an appointment for vaccinations, heart-worm tests, or deworming.

    Vaccinations and tests are individually priced, without additional clinic or other fees, only cash or personal checks accepted. Rhode Island residents and walk-ins are welcome. Pre-registration via phone or text is preferred. Appropriate social distancing is encouraged. Pets will be received outside the building.

    All cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leashes with muzzles as necessary. Services will be provided by Dr. Peter Granville DVM. The entrance for the vaccination clinic is in back of the church, to the rear of the parking lot, follow the signs. Please remain in the vehicle until checked in.

    Lions Club Easter egg hunt

    The South Attleboro Village Lions and The South Attleboro Lions Club, which sponsors the AHS Leo Club, are having their annual Egg Hunt. Over 15,000 eggs filled with candy. Music will be done by DJ Nate Adams.

    The egg hunt will be held on Saturday, April 12, 11 a.m. at Capron Park Monument Field. In case of rain the event will be held at the AHS Gymnasium.

    Disco Night at Plainville Beagle Club 

    Spirit of Plainville is hosting a Disco Night on Saturday, April 12, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Plainville Beagle Club, 115 Everett Skinner Road, Plainville. This is a fundraiser to support 2025 events, including the summer concert series. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via Paypal or by emailing SpiritofPlainville@gmail.com for cash or check.
