Congregational Church apple pie sale
Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Ave., Attleboro Falls, announces its annual Apple Pie Day on Saturday, Nov. 23. Get a homemade apple pies for the holidays. Makes a great hostess gift, too. Remember to get an extra pie or two to save for those cold winter days. Instructions included for baking from fresh or frozen.
No walk-ins, must pre-order by calling 508-699-7700 by Sunday, Nov 17. Late orders cannot be guaranteed. Remember to leave name, phone number and number of pies to order. Cost is $15 each, payable in cash/check/card at time of pickup.
Angels in the Light ceremony
On Sunday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m., Myles Above in Heaven will present Angels in the Light, a candlelight ceremony in the loss of a child, at First Congregational Church, 675 Old Post Road, North Attleborough.
The free ceremony will include music, a vocalist, speaking your child’s name, fellowship and readings. Please bring a framed photo of your child.
Dyer-Lake holiday open house
Dyer-Lake Funeral Home is proud to announce and cordially invites the community to the 27th annual Holiday Open House & Memorial Tree Lighting on Thursday, Dec. 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 6 p.m.
Please bring a meaningful ornament in memory of a loved one or Dyer-Lake will provide one to hang on one of the many beautifully decorated trees throughout the funeral home. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
