A North Attleborough man and his wife are facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation that culminated in the execution of multiple search warrants earlier this month.
Michael Andrews-Everette appeared in Attleboro District Court on a warrant and pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was released on $7,500 cash bail pending further court proceedings.
Detective Kevin McKeon of the North Attleborough Police Department will be petitioning for an arrest warrant for Michael, 38, and requesting a summons for his wife, Samantha Andrews-Everette, 35, authorities said.
Michael is facing several felony charges, including:
- Trafficking methamphetamine (20.77 grams)
- Trafficking marijuana (1,727 pounds)
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute psilocybin mushrooms (86.8 pounds of mushroom chocolates)
Additionally, law enforcement seized $221,569.50 in cash, along with drug ledgers and a currency counting machine found on the Andrews-Everette property. Investigators allege that this currency was linked to the couple’s illicit drug operation.
The couple has been under investigation for drug trafficking since early August 2024. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the DEA New Jersey Division, Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, the DEA NBRO (New Bedford Resident Office), and the North Attleborough Police.
On Thursday, Sept. 5, at approximately 5:30 p.m., authorities executed a search warrant at the Andrews-Everette residence in North Attleborough. Simultaneously, a search warrant was executed at Extra Space Storage Unit C5, located at 1204 Washington St. in Stoughton, where additional contraband was reportedly uncovered.
The investigation remains ongoing, with more details expected to emerge as the case develops.
