The 11th annual Bailey’s Run for Autism will take place on Sunday, April 14. This event is a professionally measured USATF-certified course that begins at the Payson Street Recreational Complex in Foxboro.
The fast, flat course encourages good race time. The run starts at 10 a.m. followed by an accompanying one-mile walk. New this year, the event features a Kids’ Dash for ages 10 years and younger which will begin at 9:30 a.m. before the race starts.
Please visit www.baileysteam.org to register. The entry fee for runners is $30 and on Race Day it is $35. Kids’ Dash and walk registration is free; however, a donation to Bailey’s Team is welcome.
Prizes will be awarded to the first three overall 5K winners (male and female) as well as the top male and female 5K runners in the following age groups: 12 and under; 13-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60+.
The awards presentation follows after 11 a.m. at nearby Conrad’s Restaurant. The post-run gathering at Conrad’s has become a local tradition and is always a fun time for runners, walkers, friends, and families.
