Mark the calendar for Wednesday, Sept. 20, as North Attleborough gears up for the third annual Downtown North Attleborough Collaborative Block Party. The event, which coincides with the final Farmers Market of the season, promises an evening of festivities, local talent and community spirit.
From 5-8 p.m., the heart of North Attleborough will transform into a vibrant hub of activity. The downtown streets will be closed off, stretching from Town Hall down to the library, allowing pedestrians to stroll safely and immerse themselves in the excitement. This year’s block party is a celebration of all things local, bringing together small businesses, talented artisans, charitable organizations and local town groups.
The night promises a plethora of entertainment for all ages. Enjoy live music that will set the stage for an energetic atmosphere, while demonstrations and captivating displays provide a glimpse into the town’s unique talents. Families can look forward to kids’ games and crafts, face painting, touch-a-truck experiences, and even a special meet-and-greet with a princess. For those with a competitive spirit, the Corn Hole Tournament offers a chance to showcase those skills.
Food enthusiasts will be delighted by the diverse culinary offerings, with local food vendors dishing up an array of treats. The event will feature a wine and beer garden, providing a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the community.
“Our town thrives on its strong sense of community, and the Downtown North Attleborough Collaborative Block Party encapsulates this spirit beautifully,” said Annie Slobogan, president of collaborative. “This annual event brings together residents, local businesses, and organizations in a vibrant celebration of all that makes North Attleborough special.”
