Workshop: Being Good Stewards to the End
Grace Episcopal church invites all to a workshop entitled Being Good Stewards to the End to learn about health, financial, legal and funeral planning.
Speakers include Lisa Wasson, RN, who is the nurse educator for HopeHealth Hospice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, the Rev. Kathy McAdams, priest at Grace Episcopal Church and formerly a hospice chaplain, Daniela Masters, founder of Aging Well Advocates, and Jay Elias, Esquire, legal counsel at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home and who previously worked many years in the field of health care law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
The discussions will take on Saturday, Aug. 12, from 9-11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 104 N. Washington St. in North Attleborough. Please RSVP to 508-695-5471 so printed handouts can be available.
Nuclear disarmament forum at Our Lady of La Salette
Peter Metz, a retired MIT educated engineer, Massachusetts Peace Action Nuclear Disarmament Working Group member and well-known speaker on the need for the total elimination of nuclear weapons, will speak on nuclear disarmament on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. at the at the Welcome Center at the Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park St., Attleboro.
