Bishop Feehan High School announces its top-ranked students in the Class of 2023, each of whom has excelled inside and outside the classroom during their four years on the school’s Holcott Drive campus.
These 10 soon-to-be graduates have the highest academic rankings among a class of 279. The Class of 2023 will be the 59th and largest-ever class to graduate from Feehan.
The Top Ten students (alphabetically) are: Dylan Capua (North Attleborough), Connor McHale (Attleboro), Ava Mitchell (North Attleborough), Alice Moore (Wrentham), Alysse Moskal (Wrentham) Benjamin Sadler (North Attleborough), Ishaan Siwach (North Attleborough), Sneha Siwach (North Attleborough), Bridget Sutula (North Attleborough), Jack Toncelli (Cumberland, R.I.).
In addition, the top three students are Valedictorian Alysse Moskal, Salutatorian Dylan Capua, and Tree Dedicator—third in class—Ishaan Siwach.
“Our Class of 2023 at Feehan is a phenomenal group of leaders, scholars, athletes and citizens,” said Bishop Feehan President, Tim Sullivan ’87. “And our three top academic students this year represent their class perfectly. This whole class – and Alysse, Dylan and Ishaan, specifically – have persisted through very challenging years, remained connected to their classmates in very unique ways, and make their soon-to-be alma mater very proud.We’ve watched this whole group excel at Feehan. They’ve worked exceptionally hard. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this whole class.”
Alysse Moskal, the daughter of Dr. Robert and Suzanne Moskal of Wrentham, has earned the title of Valedictorian of the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2023. Alysse came to Feehan from King Philip Middle School.
Ranking first academically in her class of 279 students with a perfect 4.0 cumulative. Outside of the classroom, Alysse is an accomplished athlete and leader at Feehan. She played important roles on the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams and is a three-year member of the Student Council, serving as an Executive Officer in her senior year. Alysse has volunteered at Feehan with the Special Olympics and at the annual Santa Shop holiday toy drive, with the New England Humane Society, and as a member of her parish, Bethany Congregational Church. She founded Feehan’s new Climate Action Club and works during the summer months at the front desk of Franklin Oral Surgery.
Alysse will be attending Boston College where she will pursue her degree in biology.
Dylan Joseph Capua, the son of Dr. Stephanie Payne and Dr. Joseph Capua of North Attleborough, has earned the title of Salutatorian of the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2023. Dylan came to Feehan from the St. Mary-Sacred Heart School in North Attleborough.
Besides his obvious academic talents, Dylan has also represented the best of Feehan in his own extracurriculars and with numerous outside organizations. His positive spirit will be an enduring part of his Feehan legacy.
Academically, Dylan is an AP Scholar and National Merit Commended Student who was awarded the Brown University Book Award, the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence, the Youth Strengthens America Attleboro Elks Civic Duty Recognition Award and earned a Silver Medal on the National Spanish Exam and a gold medal in science for the highest overall average among his fellow Feehan students.
A dedicated athlete and captain of the Feehan basketball team, Dylan was named an athlete of the week by the Boston Globe after one particularly memorable performance on the court and was chosen as an All-Star by both the Sun Chronicle and the Central Catholic League. Dylan will also be attending Boston College where he will pursue his degree in biology and aspires to a career in dentistry.
Ishaan Siwach, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanjeev Siwach of North Attleborough, has earned the title of Tree Planter of the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2023. Ishaan came to Feehan from North Attleboro Middle School.
Ishaan is a sincere, caring, young man that has a great regard for others and wants to make a difference. His integrity and strength of character make him a model student. His grades represent the highest level of achievement and ability. In his junior year he was the recipient of both the Yale University Book Award and the Rensselaer Medal.
Ishaan is a well-rounded student and participates in many school and community activities, without sacrificing his excellent academic standing. He is a student-athlete and role model both on and off the playing field. Ishaan is a member of the boys Varsity Tennis team, and he also has a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His love of tennis led him to be a volunteer coach at Feehan’s summer program for students in grades three through six. While at Bishop Feehan Ishaan has been a member of the Math Team, Stem Club, and Business Forum.
Ishaan will be studying engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
