It’s great to be back.
After a three and a half month hiatus from the print edition, the staff of the North Star Reporter is very happy to announce publication has resumed, starting with the edition you’re holding. This is an exciting time and we’re all thrilled to resume providing the best local news around, supported by some of your favorite local businesses.
“So what happened?” you may be asking. Well, any news organization survives primarily on its advertising, and when every business in town closed, so too did we. And so, we made the difficult call to transition to an online-only news service, and those articles can still be seen on our site, www.northstarreporter.com.
But we are back and looking forward to the future. In the short term, there is going to be a significant change, and that is we won’t be delivering the paper to every home and business in town. That will resume soon, and for now we have drop spots at several locations across town, and you can see that list below. You can also pick up a copy at our office, located at 570 Kelley Boulevard.
This has been a difficult time for everyone, but as businesses reopen and some semblance of normal returns, we hope you’ll continue to read the North Star Reporter for all your local news needs.
